Artist: Slomo

 Slomo's works feature geometric pieces whether they are abstract or figurative. Transparencies and colour overlays have become Slomo's hallmark. His only working tool is a spray can.

 Among his influences, Slomo emphasizes how “Cinetismo Venezolano” (Venezuelan Kinetic Art) started the process, but it was the city of Barcelona (Spain) and all its contemporary street artists that gave shape to what Slomo depicts in his paintings or walls nowadays.

By chance, or maybe by unconscious design, Slomo has surrounded himself with people and places that turned him to street art. Influential artists, places, cities, and a flowering Miami scene encouraged him to dive into art and creation, a scene which he felt very identified with and was lucky enough to experience firsthand and to draw inspiration from.
